Hayden Panettiere Flaunts Her Short New ‘Do! (PHOTOS)

Tending to her stylish new hairdo, Hayden Panettiere paid a pre-weekend visit to Warren Tricomi salon in West Hollywood on Friday (April 30). The “Heroes” hottie flaunted her short locks as she strolled out of the beauty parlor sporting a black “Omg” t-shirt with dark jeans and a pair of shades.

Recently talking about the dramatic change from long blonde locks to a cropped haircut, Hayden revealed that she’s tired of her squeaky clean image.

“I’m typically a very fiery person but I just feel like cute and blonde and little is just so one category and one thing and changing my hair color, I feel like I don’t have to overcompensate so much for the fact that I don’t like being called cute for anything like that – especially being all 5ft 2 of me.”

Continuing to do what she can for the good of whales, Hayden Panettiere hosted The Whaleman Foundation Benefit in Hollywood on Sunday evening (November 15). Held at Beso Restaurant, the “Heroes” hottie happily posed for pictures as she tried to raise money to help protect the whale species from being illegally hunted and slaughtered. In related news, Miss Panettiere is stepping behind the camera to co-executive produce a new medical drama from The CW called “HMS”.Created by Mystic Pizza writer Amy Holden Jones, the show “revolves around a group of Harvard Medical School students.”

Enjoying a swanky evening out, Hayden Panettiere was spotted attending the 2009 Hollywood Style Awards last night (October 11). The “I Love You Beth Cooper” babe looked amazing as she arrived at the Armand Hammer Museum, sporting a lavender dress with silver peep-toe heels. Miss Panettiere looked to be having a marvelous time as she hammed it up with “Heroes” costar Zachary Quinto and fellow actress Sophia Bush.

And coming up tonight (October 12) Hayden and her super-powered friends will be hitting television screens all over the nation with a brand new episode of “Heroes.”

‘Heroes star Hayden Panettiere recently admitted that she is scared that Heroes fans will go too far and stab her. On the show, Hayden plays Claire, a chearleader who can heal herself. “I’m just afraid somebody’s going to stab me one day and think that my power is real and they expect me to start healing. I’ve been thinking about that since the first season, I’m like, ‘What if somebody really thought I was indestructible?’ Because I’ve heard some wacky things come out of people’s mouths that you go, ‘Guys, it’s not real’.” source.
